Sylvan Gallery has relocated from Clinton, Connecticut to the charming village of Wiscasset, Maine! Look for us to open our doors at our new gallery location on Friday, May 25th on Memorial Day weekend. Our new hours will be: Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm & Sunday 11am - 4pm. |

Described as "an oasis of art" in our first Shoreline art review, Sylvan Gallery was one of the premier art galleries on the CT shoreline featuring museum quality contemporary realism. In May of 2012 we relocated to the beautiful town of Wiscasset and will begin our 12th season of featuring contemporary original paintings and sculptures by American artists. A recent review from Madison, Connecticut's The Source: "Sylvan Gallery is the definition of a whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Each individual who paints for this gallery is worthy of an article unto themselves. Outside of museums, it tops my shoreline list for consistent artist diversity and caliber. Add two community-engaged and just-plain-swell owners, an inviting and well-stocked gallery space, and work for nearly every budget, and my picture of praise can paint itself."
