Angelo Franco’s oil paintings reflect the atmospheric mood and ever changing light of the Connecticut and Cape Cod landscape. His paintings capture not only a visual impression of the landscape but also convey the feel of the air - the crispness of a clear day and the atmospheric wetness following a rainstorm. Franco studied at Paier College of Art with Robert Zappalorti and received a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from The School of Visual Arts in New York City. His awards include the prestigious Lila Acheson Wallace/Readers Digest Award from The Society of Illustrators.
