Sylvan Gallery is proud to present "Timeless: The Figure and The Landscape," an exhibition of paintings and sculptures of subject matter that has provided artists with timeless inspiration from June 29th through July 29th. Many of the artists are devoted to the historic tradition of working directly from life, interpreting the natural world around us. The opening reception will be on Friday, June 29th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Contributing artists include Connecticut artists Peter Layne Arguimbau, Angie Falstrom, Cora Howard, Leo Jensen, Chris Karpinski, Victor Mays, Deborah Quinn-Munson, and Polly Seip; Maine artist Stan Moeller; Maryland artist Gavin Gardner; Virginia artist Patrick Branch; Indiana artist Laura Winslow; New Jersey artists Al Barker and Mary Poerner, New York artist Crista Pisano; Vermont artists Jack Winslow, and Karen Winslow; Montana artists Jennifer Li and Nicholas Oberling; and Jen Harmon Allen, formally of Madison, CT, now living in Utah.
