1st Juried Exhibition:

A Sense of Place May 30 - June 28, 2008 Opening Reception: Saturday, June 7th, from 3 until 6 pm. The subject (landscape, seascape, marine, etc.) of the artwork must be within a 30 mile radius of Sylvan Gallery. The show, open to all artists of oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pastel mediums celebrates the beauty of this remarkable area which has continued to inspire artists for over 100 years. The guest juror, Lou Bonamarte, is an award winning artist and a popular instructor of art at Lyme Art Association. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Save the Sound organization.
